After finishing last season as the second worst team in the league, the St. Louis Rams are missing star RB Steven Jackson.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, if Jackson doesn’t report by August 8, he will lose the right to become a free agent thanks to a clause in the league’s collective bargaining agreement.

The Rams are listed at +500 to take the NFC West.
