ACC Football Injury Reports This Fall
The Sporting News is reporting that the NCAA’s Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) will be offering injury updates on players on a biweekly basis.
The status of players will mirror the system used in the NFL (probable, questionable etc.) but an ACC spokesperson denied that the new system is for the benefit of bettors.
“This is not gambling-based,” said spokesman Mike Finn.
“This was done to keep coaches from having to comment about injuries on a daily basis and it’s not mandatory; it’s just a suggested guideline.”
