Playing for the seventh game without Kevin Garnett, the Boston Celtics beat Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday afternoon. The Celtics, a 2-point home dog, got 35 points from Paul Pierce in the 98-90 win. They are now 5-2 in those seven starts without Garnett and don’t expect to have him back before next week’s All-Star game.
