While his team was beating the San Antonio Spurs 89-85 at the Staples Center at night, Los Angeles Laker C Andrew Bynum was having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee during the day and is expected to be in top flight condition come training camp.

Bynum’s Lakers host San Antonio for Game 2 on Friday and are 6.5-point favorites.
