The final gun sounded on Super Bowl XLII with a big upset victory by the New York Giants (+12) over New England, ruining their perfect season. Although many were expecting a shootout and “Over” money was steady in the build-up to the big game, it was clear fairly early that “Under” bettors were going to be rewarded. The final score of 17-14 tied for the lowest point total in the last 30 years.
