The NHL announced its nominees for the Hart Memorial Trophy for the league’s Most Valuable Player.

Calgary Flames power forward Jarome Iginla, Pittsburgh Penguins C Evgeni Malkin and Washington Capitals LW Alexander Ovechkin will vie for the prize.
