-On the Western front, the Colorado Avalanche (+180 to take the series) get set to renew acquaintances with the Detroit Red Wings (-240)

-The Eastern Conference will see the start of a series featuring the Philadelphia Flyers (+170) taking on the Montreal Canadiens (-220)
