Golden State is in the same basic situation as Indiana, in that they have to win this game tonight to keep the race on for that last playoff spot in the West. They are a 16.5-point favorite against a beat-up Clippers lineup. Wow, that’s a lot of points to lay on a team battling for the last playoff spot in the Conference. It’s not like this is the 85 Celtics taking the floor tonight…but the Warriors have been very good at home as of late, are highly motivated and playing a team that would have been a 12-seed or lower in the recent NCAA Tournament…maybe 16.5-points isn’t that many after all.
