No Big Baby And Green For Boston Bettors?
Boston Celtics power forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis could be suspended by the team for getting into a fight.
According to the Boston Globe, Davis and a college teammate were involved in an “altercation” where Davis suffered a broken thumb–he is out indefinitely.
Citing Boston-area TV station WFXT, ESPN reports that Celtics’ brass is considering suspending Davis as well.
BostonĀ opens the 2009/10 regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers, listed as 5-point underdogs with an Over/Under of 184.5.
The Celtics have struggled in their last 11 games at Quicken Loans Arena going 0-11 straight up and 2-9 against the spread.
However, Boston has been very solid in its last 11 games when underdogs of 6-points or less as it is 8-2-1 ATS.
Also, in its last 12 road games it is 8-3-1 ATS.
