Rain on Saturday only delayed the inevitable as the New York Yankees won the 2009 AL Pennant and punched a ticket to the World Series thanks to a win over the L.A. Angels.

The Yanks won Game 6 by final of 5-2, covering at -180 and going Under the 9.5 Total–they won the ALCS 4-2.

The Pinstripes are also favored in World Series price betting, listed at -215 to win the Fall Classic while the Phillies are +175 underdogs.

Game 1 goes tonight with Cliff Lee going for Philly and 2009 ALCS MVP CC Sabathia going for the Yanks.

Again, the Yankees are favored for Game 1 (-170) while the Phillies are +155 Underdogs and the Over/Under is set at 8.
