The No. 22 South Carolina Gamecocks have suspended second-leading rusher Jarvis Giles for at least Saturday’s game against the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide.

The RB has 245 yards on 42 carries with a TD and the Gamecocks could’ve used him as they are big 17.5-point road underdogs this week.

South Carolina hasn’t been that bad of a bet when listed as an underdog of more than 8-points, going 6-3 ATS in its last nine games with that line range.

The university wouldn’t elaborate on why Giles was suspended, saying only that he violated team and university policy.
