The Indianapolis Colts have a bye this week and not a moment too soon.

QB Peyton Manning is said to have a sore knee (although it isn’t said to be serious) and K Adam Vinatieri will miss upwards of two months after having right knee surgery and the Colts have signed Matt Stover as his replacement–the AP reports that Vinatieri was not placed on IR.

After its bye week, Indy will play a road game against the St. Louis Rams followed by a three-game home stand highlighted by a pair of crucial games against the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots.

The Colts are listed as 3-point home faves for the Nov. 15 tilt vs. New England in Game of the Year betting and are prohibitive -1600 faves in AFC South division winner futures.

Peyton Manning is a +250 favorite in regular season MVP prop betting.
