Marion Barber Questionable For MNF
Updated September 28, 2009
It seems unlikely that Marion Barber will play on Monday Night Football–he has a strained quadriceps muscle.
The Cowboys’ official website says Barber is questionable for tonight’s game as he was a limited participant in practice over the weekend.
The site also suggests that the team may rely on Tashard Choice if Barber is unable to go.
Dallas is an 8-point home fave and has gone 7-3 straight up in its last 10 matchups against Carolina overall.
Earlier in the week, sportingnews.com reported that Barber would miss between one and two games while YAHOO! Sports reported that the injury is day-to-day.
YAHOO! would later report that Barber is “looking more likely to play.”
The Dallas Cowboys opened their new billion-dollar stadium with a 33-31 loss on Sunday Night Football to the hated New York Giants–failing to cover as 3-point home faves.
