The Knick franchise has made a first step in their attempt to rise above being one of the most embarrassing organizations in pro sports. They’ve hired one of the top basketball people available, Donnie Walsh, the now former Indiana Pacer executive. This should spell the end to the disastrous Isiah Thomas era. 

New York plays tonight as an 8.5-point dog in Memphis…that about says it all…if rock bottom isn’t being close to a double-digit dog vs. the Grizzlies we don’t know what is.
