With inflammation of his right shoulder, right-hander Johnny Cueto has been placed on the 15-day disabled list (DL) by the Cincinnati Reds.
According to MLB.com, Michah Owings, who has been on the DL with a tight right shoulder, will be activated and take Cueto’s spot in the rotation.
Owings will start on Friday against the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Reds are listed at +127.
