As the NHL regular season winds down, the fight for playoff spots keeps getting more intense. Tonight’s full schedule of games has MAJOR implicatons for both Conferences. There are “must-win” games everywhere you look.

This is particularly true for teams in the Western Conference. The Predators are -155 in their game vs. the Blues, a game Nashville has to win.

The Oilers are -120 at home to Calgary in the “Battle of Alberta”. While this matchup of provincial rivals is always heated, tonight’s game will be off the charts in terms of intensity, as the Oilers absolutely have to win to stay alive and Calgary is battling to make sure they aren’t the last team out.

And finally we have the Canucks as a -130 favorite hosting Colorado. Vancouver’s in a position where they have to keep winning if they want to ensure themselves a playoff spot. The Avalanche are 5-0 in their last five meetings with Vancouver and have a record of 4-1 in their last five visits to Vancouver.

It’s going to be one of the best nights of NHL action all season.
