Hitman Hatton Vs. Pac-Man Pacquiao
Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao will be going head to head on Saturday in Las Vegas with Hatton’s Ring Magazine junior welterweight championship on the line and while the in-ring product is generating a lot of hype, there is action outside of the ring too.
Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach and Hatton’s cornerman Floyd Mayweather Sr. have been firing verbal salvos at one another ever since the fight was announced.
The elder Mayweather has called his counterpart Freddie the Joke and Roach Motel on the Jim Rome show while Roach told sportinglife.com that Floyd couldn’t program a VCR let alone deprogram Hatton’s bad habits.
Hatton is listed at +190 and Pacquiao at -240.
