Plan and simple - they were outplayed by the #15-seed Belmont, and were certainly outworked. It was so close to being another first round exit for the Blue Devils in their tournament opener, as they barely survived in a 71-70 come-from-behind win…but obviously didn’t come close to covering the big spread.

They better find a way to step their game up in a big way vs. West Virginia this Saturday. Duke is currently a 3.5-point favorite in that matchup.
