Xavier had a slow start, but came from behind to cover the -9 and throw cold water on Georgia’s improbable run to the NCAA Tourney. After pulling off a string of upsets to land a spot in the top 65 teams in the nation, the Bulldogs couldn’t hold off an Xavier team in the second half, disappointing their backers.

#1-seed Kansas also covered in their early game, rolling up a 24-point win over Portland State (they were 21-point favorites).

Michigan State dropped Temple 72-61, covering the spread in that one.
