Indiana vs. Arkansas
These two “At-Large” bids meet up on Friday as the #8 and #9 seeds in the East Region. The Hoosiers have struggled down the stretch, coming into the big tourney dealing with inconsistency issues. They are 1-5 ATS since Kelvin Sampson was replaced by Dan Dakich and have not looked good defensively.
The Hogs are feeling good heading into the tourney. They’re 3-1 straight up and 2-1-1 ATS in their last four.
This is one of the closest pointspreads in the opening round, with Indiana pegged as a 1.5-point favorite, and the wagering volume is favoring the dog. However, we like this athletic Indiana team to step up, put together a solid defensive effort, and beat Arkansas. We’ve got the Hoosiers moving to the next round, covering the spread in this tilt.
