Cornell Gets To Dance
Few people may have taken notice on a Saturday full of college basketball, but a small area of up-state New York had reason to party the night away. For the first time in 20 years, Cornell earned the Ivy League’s automatic berth into the NCAA Championship Tournament, making them the first team to officially secure a spot in this year’s bracket. They accomplished this with a win over Harvard last night.
Since the Ivy League is the only conference that doesn’t host a post-season tournament, the league champ gets the automatic bid.
