After being anointed the nation’s No. 1 team in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls on Monday, the Tennessee Volunteers’ stint at the top was short lived.

The Volunteers suffered a 72-69 defeat at the hands of the Vanderbilt Commodores last night, failing to cover as 2-point faves.
