According to an Argentinean newspaper, San Antonio Spurs shooting guard, Manu Ginobili will have surgery to repair ligament damage in his left ankle.

Ginobili, fresh off a bronze medal at the Beijing Summer Games, insists that his participation in the Olympics didn’t do any further damage.

The Spurs are listed at +800 to win the NBA championship in 2009.
