The Dallas Mavericks found a way to get the Jason Kidd deal done, after it was held up last week by Devean George. They ended up replacing George and Jerry Stackhouse with forward Keith Van Horn (retired) and Trenton Hassell.

The thinking is that Kidd could make his first start for the Mavs in New Orleans on Wednesday night.
