With pitchers and catchers ready to report, believe it or not, it’s baseball time again..and a strange thing happened on the way to the ‘08 season…the New York Mets have been installed as the odds on favorite to win the World Series. That hasn’t happened since…well…since never.

This is totally foreign territory for the franchise that has spent their existence in the Shadow of the Bronx Bombers. The Mets are 4-1, ahead of the Red Sox (9-2) and those Bombers (5-1).
