Speaking of NFL offseason betting, reports are circulating that the Miami Dolphins, who own the first pick overall in the NFL Draft, are in negotiations with, among other prospects, Ohio State Buckeyes DE Vernon Gholston.

The Dolphins shocked everyone in last year’s draft when they selected Ohio State WR Ted Ginn Jr. in the first round over Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn.

Gholston is listed as a 20-1 longshot to be the first overall pick.

The Super Bowl might be a distant memory and the regular season might be about five months away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still wager on the NFL.

The Jacksonville Jaguars showed David Garrard the money by re-signing the QB to the richest deals in franchise history.

Garrard reportedly will make $60 million over seven years.
