People have been waiting for this Memphis team to fade away once they had to face some “real” competition, outside the C-USA, but they just keep on winning. After beating up on UCLA, easily covering the pointspread, they now face Kansas in the title game.
Memphis is a 1.5-point favorite over the Jayhawks in the Championship game on Monday night.

Already in the Final Four and an All-American, University of North Carolina forward Tyler Hansbrough was also named the Associated Press’ College Basketball Player of the Year.
Hansbrough beat out Kansas State’s Michael Beasley and Memphis’ Chris Douglas-Roberts for the honor.
