Here’s something you don’t see too often — the Los Angeles Lakers listed as underdogs.

The West Semifinal series between the Lakers and the Utah Jazz switches scenes from California to Salt Lake City and Kobe and company find themselves listed at +5.

Not to worry Laker bettors; as underdogs, L.A. has cashed in seven of its last eight.

The Detroit Pistons are hoping that treatment will be good for all that ails PG Chauncey Billups.

Billups strained his hamstring in the Pistons’ playoff game against Orlando yesterday and Detroit’s training staff has vowed to give the point guard upwards of eight forms of treatment in the hopes of having him ready for Game 4 on Saturday.

Detroit was a 4-point underdog for Game 4 yesterday and is now +5.

The Cleveland Cavaliers did lose Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against Boston but the Cavs might be the way to go tonight.

Cleveland has taken three in a row ATS in Beantown and is a 8.5-point underdog. 

With a seemingly comfortable 2-0 series lead over the defending champion Spurs, the Hornets leave the friendly confines of New Orleans and head to San Antonio.

New Orleans has gone 6-2 ATS in its last eight against the Spurs and is a 7-point underdog for tonight’s game.

Having gone Over in seven out of their last 10 matchups, the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic look to bust the Total for the eighth time.

The Total in tonight’s matchup is set at 187.

With a regular season MVP award under his belt and a supporting cast he has no complaints about, Kobe Bryant and his L.A. Lakers host the Utah Jazz tonight.

The Lakers are 7-point favorites for Game 2.

The Boston Celtics avoided catastrophe by beating the Atlanta Hawks 99-65 in Game 7 of their first round playoff series but are the Celtics in for more trouble in the East Semifinal against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers?

Boston has dropped nine out of its last 12 against Cleveland straight up.

The New Orleans Hornets are showing that their regular season performance is not an anomaly as they hold a 2-0 advantage in their playoff series to the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs.

With a 102-84 win as 3-point favorites last night, the Hornets have taken three straight SU and ATS vs. the Spurs.

The Detroit Pistons will host Orlando Magic in Game 2 of their East Semifinal series tonight and the Motor City has owned its Florida-based opponent.

Detroit has taken 16 of the last 20 against Orlando straight up and is listed at -280 on the Money line.

After taking Game 1 of its West Semifinal series against the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 101-82, it might be wise to wager on New Orleans again.

The Hornets have taken three out of five games ATS vs. the Spurs this season and are favored by trey in tonight’s matchup.
