Can Tiger Make A Charge?

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

Despite being six strokes back from the leader, Tiger Woods enters the final round of the Masters as the second highest favorite to win the tournament.

Leader Trevor Immelman is the favorite, of course, at 5-4. Tiger is the next in line at 3-1, ahead of all the other players who stand between him and the leader (i.e. Snedeker, Casey, Flesch). The numbers make sense from a bookmakers perspective though, as bettors still think Tiger can win and are showing it by putting their money down on him. Tiger money continues to flow in this morning after a solid night of volume on the world’s best golfer.
