According to an AP report, Annika Sorenstam will retire at the end of this LPGA season.

Sorenstam currently ranks third on the LPGA all-time wins list with 72.

Tiger Woods Under The Knife

Not that he would use this as an excuse for coming up second at the Masters but Tiger Woods went underwent arthoscopic surgery on the same left knee that has been worked on two times in the last five years.

Tiger will be grounded for at least a month and he expects to be ready for the U.S. Open which takes place in June.

Immelman Grabs The Green

Tiger struck out in the first step of grabbing golf’s Grand Slam as he finished as the runner-up in the 2008 Masters Tournament shooting Even on the day and -5 for the tournament.

Trevor Immelman finished on top, grabbing the green jacket, finishing at +3 on Day 4 and 8-under par overall.

It was Immelman’s first major victory.
