Back-To-Back Buckeyes For Dolphins?

Speaking of NFL offseason betting, reports are circulating that the Miami Dolphins, who own the first pick overall in the NFL Draft, are in negotiations with, among other prospects, Ohio State Buckeyes DE Vernon Gholston.

The Dolphins shocked everyone in last year’s draft when they selected Ohio State WR Ted Ginn Jr. in the first round over Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn.

Gholston is listed as a 20-1 longshot to be the first overall pick.

Garrard reportedly will make $60 million over seven years.

- LB Tedy Bruschi re-signed with the New England Patriots and the Pats are listed at +175 to win the AFC Championship in 2009.

- The Raiders re-signed RB Justin Fargas and are a longshot to make the Super Bowl at +8000.

- Former Raiders WR Jerry Porter signed a deal with Jacksonville and the Jags are +600 to take the AFC title.
