With the untimely playoff demise of both the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, coach Avery Johnson is looking for work and the Suns’ Mike D’Antoni could soon follow.

There were suggestions that Johnson didn’t get along with Dallas deadline acquisition, PG Jason Kidd as the Mavericks were beaten by the New Orleans Hornets.

Despite playing an up tempo style and acquiring Shaquille O’Neal, D’Antoni and the Suns still failed to defeat rivals San Antonio.
