After damaging a tendon in his right pinkie finger all the way back in February, Kobe Bryant will finally have surgery.

ESPN reports that Bryant suffered an “avulsion fracture” on February 5, 2008 against the New Jersey Nets and has played through the season, playoffs and Beijing Olympics with the injury.
