Hines Ward To Play Vs. Browns Tonight?
Updated December 10, 2009
Although listed as Questionable with a hamstring injury, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that Steelers WR Hines Ward will try to play against the Cleveland Browns tonight.
“I’m going to give it a shot and see what happens,” the Tribune-Review has Ward quoted as saying via Facebook.
On the other hand, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that it didn’t look like Ward would play.
Early reports indicated that the chances of Ward and CB William Gay (concussion) seeing action on Thursday night were slim, especially considering the short week.
Pittsburgh is still a 10-point road favorite though and 9-1 SU and 5-2-3 ATS in 10 road games in Cleveland.
However, the Steelers are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall and have taken the Over 10 out of its last 15 overall.
The game has an Over/Under of 33.
