Chiefs’ Cassel Out 2-4 Weeks?
Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel suffered a strained MCL in his right knee in the team’s Saturday night game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Citing a source within the Chiefs organization, YAHOO! Sports reports that Cassel could miss 2-4 weeks, including KC’s opener against the Baltimore Ravens–the Chiefs are 9-point road underdogs for that game.
Cassel lasted only three plays before leaving the game, which resulted in a 14-10 win for the Seahawks–Seattle covered as 2.5-point road ‘dogs.
The Chiefs acquired Cassel from the New England Patriots via an offseason trade.
