Yanks’ CC On The DL?
CC Sabathia, the New York Yankees’ prized offseason acquisition, hasn’t been as good as advertised, in fact, he’s been disappointing.
The Yanks are only 7-8 straight up in his last 15 starts and Sabathia left yesterday’s game against the Florida Marlins–a 6-5 Florida win–with a left biceps injury.
It has been initially reported that Sabathia will not require time on the disabled list but manager Joe Girardi told the New York Daily News that he had “no idea” if the southpaw would make his next start.
